Merino is a type of wool that is made from particularly fine fibers. Because the fibers are thin, it is soft to the touch and does not irritate the skin. Using this merino wool, I made an extra-thick type of yarn that can be knitted roughly. It has just the right amount of fluff, creating a warm piece of work.
