QD's strengths lie in the "long-distance casting rod fishing method."
When targeting red sea bream, yellowtail amberjack, large gizzard shad, etc. with a stationary rod, the general rule is to loosen the drag and wait for a bite.
When they eat the bait, they run off in a flash, so if you do not let out the line smoothly in response to their movement, they may feel resistance and let go of the bait, or even lose your tackle.
In such a situation, there is no time to repeatedly tighten the drag. With the QD, you can respond quickly with just one twist of the drag knob.

It prevents line breakage by releasing the line when the load exceeds the set value, and maintains a constant resistance while the line is being pulled out.
Depending on the setting, the drag may slip due to the load of the cast when casting long distances. In that case, we recommend wearing a finger guard to prevent injury.
