The brushed stainless steel texture and the simple, modern design are so beautiful that you can serve them directly to the dining table. The ball, which was created by incorporating the opinions of housewives and testing its usability over and over again, is easy to use and is very popular. Received the Good Design Award.
The ball has a modern shape and well-researched functions, giving it a solid sense of stability and being comfortable to sit on. The interior has just the right amount of depth and curves, making it very easy to use, lightweight, durable, and highly functional. The balls come in five sizes, each with a different curve, but can be stacked for compact storage. (Makiko Nakamura)
About the manufacturer
Sori Yanagi is a master Japanese industrial designer. His works range from the Olympic cauldron to furniture, tableware, and cutlery. In 1952, Yanagi Kogyo Design Study Group was established. Since then, we have consistently pursued "ease of use." His thinking was influenced in no small part by his father, Soetsu Yanagi, who was a central figure in the Japanese folk art movement. Handles of pots, curves of kitchen tools. Each of these is created while actually verifying its usability using three-dimensional models. Extravagance has been stripped down to the point of stoicism, leaving only something refined in form, ease of use, and beauty.
Modern design from Japan and around the world. Herein lies the beauty of using it.
