Note:
1. When measuring an unknown voltage, the probe handle should be moved to the 10X position first to prevent the oscilloscope from being burnt due to excessive input voltage. Then according to the size of the measured voltage to determine whether to use 1X or 10X gear2. The bandwidth of the 1X probe gear is 5MHz, and the bandwidth of the 10X probe gear is 100MHz. When measuring frequencies higher than 5MHz, you need to move the probe handle to the 10X position, and the oscilloscope also needs to be set to the 10X position. Because the oscilloscope probe line has up to 100 ~ 300pF capacitance. The signal will be greatly attenuated when reaching the input end of the oscilloscope through the probe. The equivalent bandwidth is 5MHz. In order to match the capacitance of the probe line, the input of the probe line will be ,ecayed by a factor of 10 (the handle is moved to the 10X range). At this point the capacitance can be used for impedance matching and the bandwidth is 100MHz.
