The ``Dekiru Nihongo'' series is a textbook that aims to help students communicate in Japanese and acquire ``the ability to communicate about themselves/their thoughts'' and ``the Japanese ability to communicate and talk to each other.''
What is important in communication is not the linguistic knowledge itself, but what you can do with your linguistic knowledge. This series was developed with emphasis on this idea.
This ``intermediate'' level expands on the ``beginner'' and ``pre-intermediate'' levels, and tasks you with tasks that will allow you to interact broadly from ``things around you and your local community'' to ``general society.'' .
